Buchi is one of my favorite clients. In addition to the amazingly tasty drinks they create, I fully believe in and support their mission in the world. They’ve hired me a number of times for all sorts of things – head shots of their team, commercial images of their brewery, product photography for their bottles, event photos… pretty much everything. I’ll do a quick overview of some of those shoots here. In some sections I will link to blog posts that can expand upon those sections further.
1. The Brewery – Commercial Photography
Buchi hired me to come into their brewery to photograph different parts of their kombucha creation process. They wanted images of their staff in action, in most parts of the process (I couldn’t bring my camera equipment into the “clean” areas). They also wanted a creative group photo of the people who make the brewery happen. Here are some of those images:
2. Studio Head Shots of Buchi Staff
This was a fuuuuuuuunnnnn shoot! 🙂 A number of Buchi staff came to my photo studio to get matching head shots. Here are a few:
3. Product Photography – Buchi Bottles
Buchi hired me to photograph their bottles back in 2014, and again in January of 2016 to create product images with their new labels. These shoots were both very complex… Photographing glass bottles is very tricky – it takes a serious amount of intention, patience and meticulousness. I am actively working on a behind the scenes video of the entire process to show you what I am talking about. Until then, here are two images from the most recent bottle shoot:
4. Buchi Farm & Brewery Commercial Photography
Buchi also hired me to come out to their farm and brewery once per season to create landscape images with a variety of looks (snow, flowering, summer, fall etc). Here are a few of those images:
I look forward to seeing what else comes out of this working relationship. Thank you for continuing to let me help you share your vision with the world! You can learn more about Buchi Kombucha by visiting their website here: drinkbuchi.com
