Objectives:
- Create product photography of a Migun Bed, Migun Mats and accessories on a seamless white background
- Complete the photo shoot at Migun’s warehouse in Asheville, NC
Mobile product photography studio:
For this shoot I brought my portable product photography setup to Migun’s warehouse in Asheville, NC. Migun had a number of large products they needed photographed, and it didn’t make sense for them to bring everything to my studio. In the photo below you can see a behind the scenes look into my lighting setup in their warehouse.
The white background serves as sort of a blank canvas to work with – not to be used as the actual background in the finished images. The photo below is one of the original raw files using this lighting setup.
It was impossible to avoid getting footprints onto the white background in their warehouse, so I needed to edit them out in photoshop. The below photo is one of the finished product images I delivered to Migun Life.
In addition to their signature Migun Bed, Migun had me photograph a number of their mats too (viewable below).

What are Migun’s products?
Migun creates medical therapy products that use heat and far-infrared light to ease pain in muscles and joints. They’re incredible, and I’m not just saying that because they hired me to create photos for them. Their Migun Bed (pictured in the top photos) is a bed you lay on that massages your back while sending heat and far-infrared light into your body.
